Provides routine and complexcare, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continuesto develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies ofclinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates toother care providers as a means to help manage the clinicalsituation.
Requirements:
A. Education/Skills
- Bachelor ofScience Degree in Nursing, preferred. B. Experience
- 1 year ofexperience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
- CriticalCare/ED experience preferred. C. Licenses, Registrations, orCertifications
- BLS required
- RN License in state ofemployment or compact Current ACLS certification at time of hire orwithin 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNs or completion by theend of the clinical orientation period for new graduate nurses.
Maintain certification thereafter. Moderate Sedation within 3months of hire for experienced RNs or within 12 months of hire fornew graduate nurses. Maintain certification annually. CurrentArrhythmia recognition at time of hire or within 8 weeks of hirefor experienced RNs or completion within 6 months for new graduatenurses. Maintain certification thereafter.
