This job acts as a leader in the provision of patientcare using the nursing process within the framework of the NursePractice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards ofPractice. Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed andancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patientoutcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religiousdiversity in all interactions; maintains involvement in activitiesaimed toward the achievement of unit and the department’s strategicgoals and objectives and demonstrates professional responsibilityand accountability for his/her own practice and supports thecompany’s philosophy of nursing. Education Required

• Registerednurse diploma. Preferred
• Associate degree in nursing. WorkExperience Required
• None. Certifications Required
• Currentregistered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. Current BasicLife Support (BLS) certification from the American HeartAssociation. Preferred
• Certification in clinical specialty area.
