  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred
  • Bachelor’sdegree in nursing. . Work Experience Required
  • None.

Certifications Required

  • Current registered nurse (RN) license instate of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationfrom the American Heart Association. Preferred
  • Certification inclinical specialty area. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-basedapplications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skillsand ability to present information clearly and professionally tovarying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Job Duties
  • Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patientcare.
  • Assesses learning needs and implement teaching strategiesappropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and othergroups or disciplines.
  • Communicates, delegates, and managesnursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as aleader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Uses data,information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in orderto achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Embraces concepts and behaviors thatenhance customer satisfaction and employee morale and improvementin the profession of nursing.
  • Performs other related duties asrequired.
