This job acts as aleader in the provision of patient care using the nursing processwithin the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nursesand Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs,and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumesaccountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivityto cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions;maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement ofunit and the department’s strategic goals and objectives anddemonstrates professional responsibility and accountability forhis/her own practice and supports the company’s philosophy ofnursing. Shift Hours 8am-6pm M-F Education Required
- Graduate ofan accredited school of nursing. Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree innursing. Work Experience Required
- None. Certifications Required
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American HeartAssociation. Preferred
- Certification in clinical specialty area.
