• RESPONSIBILITIES

• IntensiveCare Unit RNs (ICU RNs) specialize in delivering care to patientsin intensive care units of hospitals and healthcare facilities. ICURNs evaluate the patient’s conditions, administer treatment, andprovide constant support during recovery. ICU RN jobresponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• ICU RNs evaluateand order diagnostic tests and administer intravenous fluids andmedications
• Respond to life-threatening situations using nursingstandards and protocols for treatment
• Ensure ventilators,monitors, and other types of medical equipment static functionproperly
• Requires 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialtyyou are applying for
• Requires Cerner experience within the pastyear
