• RESPONSIBILITIES

• MedSurg RNsprovide bedside care for a variety of patients and executeindividualized patient assessments to create an individualized planof care. MedSurg RNs prepare equipment and assist physicians duringexamination and treatment of patients. MedSurg RN jobresponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• MedSurg RNsprepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Initiatealternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed
• Changedressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary
• Cernerexperience within the past year required
• Requires 2 years ofrecent experience in specialty as an RN
