• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RegisteredNurses (RN) work closely with doctors and heart specialists tocontrol patients blood pressure and to prevent heart failure.

The

CVICU RN

Provides education and support to families andpatientswhile acting as a liaison between the doctors and thepatients.

CVICU RN

jobresponsibilities include, but are not limitedto:

• Assesses a patients condition and implements care plan whileobserving and recording patients vital signs
• Administersmedication and operate cardiovascular equipment like oxygenationmachines and balloon pumps
• Requires at least 2 years of CVICU RNexperience

ACLS/BLS

required

• Cerner experience required
