• Description
• Intermediate Care Unit RNs (IMCU RNs)treat patients who are suffering from serious conditions, such asdiabetes mellitus, electrolyte imbalances, renal failure, liverfailure, gastrointestinal bleeds, blood disorders, cancer, sepsis,respiratory distress or multi-system organ failure. IMCU RN jobresponsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsibilities:

• IMCU RNs assess each patients needs individually and collectsrelevant data, such as temperature, blood pressure and pain levels,according to the facilitys prescribed procedure
• Performphysician-prescribed treatments and communicate effectively withpatients, families, physicians, being an advocate for the patient
• Prepare equipment and assists physician during examination andtreatment of patient
• Requires 2 years recent Cardiac Stepdown RNexperience
