This job acts as aleader in the provision of patient care using the nursing processwithin the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nursesand Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs,and assists licensed and ancillary team members. Assumesaccountability for quality patient outcomes, exhibits sensitivityto cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions,and maintains involvement in activities aimed toward theachievement of unit and the department’s strategic goals andobjectives. Demonstrates professional responsibility andaccountability for his/her own practice and supports the company’sphilosophy of nursing. Education Required

• Graduate of anaccredited school of nursing. Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree innursing. Work Experience Required
• None. Certifications Required
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American HeartAssociation. Preferred
• Certification in clinical specialty area.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Proficiency in usingcomputers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective verbaland written communication skills and ability to present informationclearly and professionally to varying levels of individualsthroughout the patient care process.
