WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Professional Development Opportunities Faith-based, Mission-focused Organization Leads in the conduct and utilization of nursing research, evidence-based practice and process improvement Develops, pilots, evaluates, and incorporates innovative models of practice. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary teams to integrate the nursing perspective into a comprehensive plan of care. Collaborates with Clinical Educators on content and operational design of orientation, clinical competency, and other clinical education development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Master’s Degree-Clinical focus program as a CNS Required
- 3 years Clinical area of expertise Require within 90 days
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS)
- American Heart Association Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) License As Required by Unit
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- American Heart Association Required
- Post-Master’s Degree Certified Nurse Specialist certificate, if MSN was not focused on the application of the CNS role
