This job acts as aleader in the provision of patient care using the nursing processwithin the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nursesand Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directsand assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumesaccountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivityto cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in all interactions;maintains involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement ofunit and the department’s strategic goals and objectives anddemonstrates professional responsibility and accountability forhis/her own practice and supports the company’s philosophy ofnursing. Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing. WorkExperience Required

- Currentregistered nurse (RN) license in state of practice . Current BasicLife Support (BLS) certification from the American HeartAssociation. Preferred
- Certification in clinical specialty area.

- Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patientcare.

- Uses data,information, and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in orderto achieve optimal outcomes.

- Adapts behavior to the specificpatient population, including but not limited to respect forprivacy, method of introduction to the patient, adaptingexplanation of services or procedures to be performed, requestingpermissions and communication style.
