  • 2 years experience.

Post cath, cardiac drips,chest tubes, tele monitoring, CABG required. All candidates musthave strong telemetry experience, specifically the ability to carefor post open heart surgeries, lung surgeries, and titration ofcardiac drips for heart rate/rhythm. Overview The Registered Nurse(RN) in Telemetry acts as a leader in the provision of patient careusing the nursing process within the framework of the NursePractice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards ofPractice. This role involves effective delegation, direction, andassistance to licensed and ancillary team members, while assumingaccountability for quality patient outcomes. The RN will exhibitsensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in allinteractions and maintain involvement in activities aimed atachieving unit and departmental strategic goals. The RNdemonstrates professional responsibility and accountability fortheir own practice and supports the company’s philosophy ofnursing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities /t

  • Effectivelyutilize the nursing process in the delivery of patient care. /t
  • Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies appropriatefor diverse patient populations, families, and other disciplines./t
  • Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources(human and fiscal) effectively, serving as a leader and partner onthe interdisciplinary team. /t
  • Use data, information, andknowledge to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimaloutcomes. /t
  • Embrace concepts and behaviors that enhance customersatisfaction, employee morale, and the improvement of the nursingprofession. /t
  • Adapt behavior to specific patient populations,respecting privacy and communication styles. /t
  • Perform otherrelated duties as required. Education /t
  • Required:

    RegisteredNurse diploma. /t

  • Preferred:

    Associate or Bachelor’s degree innursing. Experience /t

  • Required:

    2 years of experience, includingpost-cath, cardiac drips, chest tubes, telemetry monitoring, andCABG. Certifications /t

  • Required:

  • Current RegisteredNurse (RN) license in the state of practice. /t/t
  • Current BasicLife Support (BLS) certification from the American HeartAssociation. /t /t /t
  • Preferred:

    Certification in a clinicalspecialty area. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) /t

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-basedapplications. /t
  • Effective verbal and written communicationskills, with the ability to present information clearly andprofessionally. /t
  • Strong interpersonal skills. /t
  • Goodorganizational and time management skills, with the ability to beself-directed. /t
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment. Physicaland Environmental Demands /t
  • Heavy Work:

    Exerting 50 to 100pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of forcefrequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to moveobjects. /t

  • Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood,body fluids, and tissue. /t
  • The incumbent works in a patient carearea and may be exposed to communicable diseases and hazardousmedications or waste.
