Our healthcare professionals create personalized, developmentally stimulating environments where children are able to interact and thrive. Who we are looking for:
Full time Registered Nurse Work alongside a CNA/DCW to provide total care for up to 6 children. Administering medications, treatments, emergency action, help develop and implement care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor the physical and emotional health of children throughout the day recognizing and reporting signs of distress. Monitor vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature, and report changes in condition. Administer prescribed medications, injections, IVs, and treatments according to individual care plans and emergency protocols. Ensure proper hygiene and prevent infections, safe handling practices, infection control and safety procedures are followed. Ensure the appropriate use of medical equipment such as feeding tubes, oxygen therapy, ventilators, and other specialized devices. Assist children with complex medical matters requiring assistance with feeding, mobility, restroom, tubes, lifting, and other needs. Respond promptly yet calmly and decisively to medical emergencies providing CPR, first aid, and other life-saving procedures as needed. Work closely with parents and guardians to understand the child’s medical needs, care protocols, health updates, incidents, and concerns. Ensure care plans are updated and followed. Maintain accurate medical records of all health assessments, medications, treatments, incidents and ensure compliance with state health and safety guidelines and HIPAA.
