This job serves asthe teacher/facilitator/consultant who works collaboratively withnursing and organizational management to implement the educationalgoals for the company. Assesses the need for, plans, organizes,implements and evaluates education and training activities. - Bachelor’s degree innursing. Preferred
- Master’s degree in nursing. Work ExperienceRequired
- 3 years of nursing experience. Certifications Required
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. BasicLife Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. KnowledgeSkills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Proficiency in using computers,software, and web-based applications.
- Effective verbal andwritten communication skills and ability to present informationclearly and professionally to varying levels of individualsthroughout the patient care process.
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work acrossorganizational lines to meet objectives.
- Excellent organizationalskills and ability to routinely manage priorities and projectsinvolving multiple constituencies.
- Excellent time managementskills and ability to work with frequent interruptions and changesin priorities.
- Ability to work in stressful situations, remainingobjective and professional at all times.
- Ability to work aflexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on callavailability). Job Duties
- Assesses, designs, presents andprovides evaluation of educational program for clinical andnon-clinical staff based on identified needs/competencies.
- Actively participates in groups and professional associations.
- Functions as a performance consultant.
- Coordinates trainingfacilities and other resources.
- Performs other related duties asrequired.
