We are hiring a Full Time Home Care Visit Nurse RN (RegisteredNurse) in the New Orleans area to provide home visits in the area.

Enhanced Pay Rates are available. We offer FT/PT hours, flexibleschedules, and weekly pay! Local travel required. • Provides high quality clinicalservices within the scope of practice and within infection controlstandards, in accordance with the plan of care/service plan, and incoordination with other members of the patient/client’s care team
• Completes nursing assessments in accordance with federal and/orstate program requirements and as required by payer. Ensures thepatient/client’s eligibility and medical necessity for services asdefined by payer source and agency policy.
• Develops and revisesindividualized plans of care and/or service plans according tofederal and/or state program requirements with other communityprovides.

Provides oversight and supervision of the plan ofcare/service plan as required by agency policy, federal, and/orstate program and as required by payer including services providedby the licensed practical nurse and paraprofessional, as assignedby supervisor.

• Ensures accurate and timely visit documentation ofvisits and services. Adheres to the electronic visit verificationprogram as required. Reports clinical findings including changes inpatient condition to the clinical manager/supervisor and physiciantimely.
• Performs treatments and intervention according to propertechnique and procedure. Administers medications per physicianorder and in accordance with federal, state, or local regulations
• Participates in and contributes to patient case conferences.
• Participates in the RN on-call rotation for the agency, ifrequired.
• Completes all orientation and annual training timely asrequired by the organization and according to federal, state, orlocal regulations. Assists with the orientation of agency staff asneeded.
• Participates on the organization’s PerformanceImprovement and Compliance programs and adheres to policy andprocedures.
• All other duties assigned. Experience Desired
• Aminimum of one (1) year experience as an RN preferred.
• Must havecurrent RN licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’slicense, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle orpublic transportation.
• Current CPR certification required. StateSpecific Requirements

At a minimum, one year of clinicalexperience as a Registered Nurse. One (1) year of clinicalexperience as a Registered Nurse may be waived for a RegisteredNurse with recent clinical experience as an LPN. RN licensure musthave no restrictions.
