  • None Certifications Required
  • Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. BasicLife Support (BLS) certification from the American HeartAssociation. Preferred
  • Certification in clinical specialty areaKnowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Proficiency in usingcomputers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbaland written communication skills and ability to present informationclearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal andorganizational skills and ability to be self-directed anddemonstrate good judgement. Job Duties
  • Effectively uses thenursing process in the delivery of patient care.
  • Assesseslearning needs and implements teaching strategies appropriate forthe diverse needs of the patient, family and other groups ordisciplines.
  • Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing teamresources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader andpartner on the interdisciplinary team.
  • Uses data, information,and knowledge to evaluate and promote change in order to achieveoptimal outcomes.
  • Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhancecustomer satisfaction and employee morale and improvement in theprofession of nursing.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patientpopulation, including but not limited to respect for privacy,method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation ofservices or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions andcommunication style.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
