This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care usingthe nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act,ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. - Registered nurse diploma. Preferred

- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state ofpractice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AmericanHeart Association. Preferred
- Certification in clinical specialty area.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-basedapplications. Effective verbal and written communication skills and abilityto present information clearly and professionally to varying levelsof individuals throughout the patient care process. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Job Duties Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patientcare. Assesses learning needs and implement teaching strategiesappropriate for the diverse needs of the patient, family and othergroups or disciplines. Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources(human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader and partner onthe Interdisciplinary Team. Uses data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promotechange in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Embraces concepts and behaviors that enhance customersatisfaction and employee morale and improvement in the professionof nursing. Performs other related duties as required.
