This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care usingthe nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act,ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectivelydelegates, directs and assists licensed and ancillary team members;assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibitssensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity in allinteractions; maintains involvement in activities aimed toward theachievement of unit and the department’s strategic goals andobjectives and demonstrates professional responsibility andaccountability for his/her own practice and supports the company’sphilosophy of nursing.
EducationRequired•Registered nursediploma.
Preferred•Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Uses data, information, and knowledge to evaluate and promotechange in order to achieve optimal outcomes.
