Essential Functions:

The RN ThriveKids assists the hospital in improving healthcare and academic outcomes for students by providing services such as staffing schools with healthcare professionals and providing/facilitating direct patient care services for students while at school. Works as an outpatient nurse assigned to a school campus and is responsible for all student healthcare at such school. Accountable for responsibilities such as daily clinical oversight for all students, training/delegating other school staff members, developing student care plans and serving as a health liaison between stakeholders. With access to the hospital’s specialty services, supplements and resources the student health needs. Involved in career development at the hospital or may work for summer school nursing programs or other outpatient clinic needs across the hospital when the school year is not in session.
