Primary Responsibilities:

Participates and maintains a culture within The Corvallis Clinicthat is consistent with the content outlined in the Service andBehavioral Standards document. To this end, employee will beexpected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principlescontained within Provides nursing care according to the sequential steps of thenursing process: assessment, planning, intervention,implementation, and evaluation Directs patient flow and prepare patients for exams Facilitates collection of all necessary information required forpatient visits. Accurately records pertinent information in theElectronic Medical Record and ensures necessary patient caredocumentation is processed in a timely manner Accurately triage patient phone calls and ensure that callbacks andprescription refills are completed in a timely fashion consistentwith provider guidelines, scope of practice, and clinic guidelines.

Documents pertinent information accurately Assists providers with procedures as directed and maintain asepsis.

Perform invasive procedures for which the RN has the training andskills Proactively monitor physician schedules for accuracy Improves the quality of care through continuing education andself-evaluation of the effectiveness of care. This includesattendance/participation in most in-services/department meetingsand remaining current on clinic/department policies andprocedures Actively participates in the cleaning of shared work areas, keepingexam rooms clean, neat and stocked Participates in the orientation and training of new employees You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in anenvironment that will challenge you and give you clear direction onwhat it takes to succeed in your role as well as providedevelopment for other roles you may be interested in.

RequiredQualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing•Current unencumbered State of Oregon license as a Registered Nurse•Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability tocomplete BLS certification within 90 days of hire•

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in an acute care hospital and/or in anindividual provider’s office or clinic setting Evidence of working knowledge of the nursing process Knowledge of basic clinical skills to provide patient care Proven ability to work well with providers, clinical staff, andpatients Proven ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy,fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour basedon full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors includingbut not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimumwage laws as applicable.
