PACU RN PRN

Louisiana Healthcare Associates, LLC 71207 Hwy 21, Covington, LA 70433 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an RN in the PACU, you will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort, and collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes. Duties Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition post-anesthesia. Administer medications as prescribed and manage pain control protocols. Provide comprehensive care to patients during their recovery phase, including assessment and documentation of progress. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient management. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery expectations. Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the PACU.
