• Description/Requirements
• Stepdown Nurses (RN) provide patient care in transitional unitswhere patients are too sick for the med-surg floor but not sickenough for intensive care. Stepdown RNs job responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:

• Responsibilities:

• Evaluate andmonitor patients progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes inthe patients medical condition
• Calculate drug dosage, titratemedication doses, administer continuous medication infusion andmonitor patients for effects of medication
• Stepdown RNs workclosely and collaborate with physicians and all other healthcareprofessionals
• Requires 2 years RN experience with recentexperience in the specialty you are applying for.
