RN•L&D•Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Hyannis, MA WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Hyannis, MA.
Job Function :
Night Shift. 3×12: 7pm•7am. Categorize patients appropriately and apply external fetal monitors to assess fetal heart tracings and uterine activity. Interpret fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status, implementing timely interventions during labor. Identify and respond to emergency situations, ensuring age-appropriate care and prompt provider notification. Assist physicians or midwives during deliveries, following safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts. 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty. Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
