RN•Med Surg Tele•Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Falmouth, MA WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Falmouth, MA.
Job Function :
Day Shift or Night Shift. 3×12: 7am•7pm / 7pm•7am. Prepares and administers prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or intravenously, and documents all administrations accurately. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with established nursing policies and protocols. Educates patients on upcoming surgical procedures to ensure understanding and preparedness. Records patients’ medical histories, vital signs, and relevant clinical information. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interpreting and documenting electronic data as needed.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts. 2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. Travel nursing experience preferred.
