PRN Support multiplelocations within 150 miles of your permanent address ~ Mileagereimbursement ~ Additional $5 per hour float premium ~ 25 per hourweekend shift differential ~ 25 per hour evening/night shiftdifferential; Required to work at least one weekend shift per month~3-month previous experience in Long Term Care required, 6 monthspreferred The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizingthe nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning,implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursingcare to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, otherinter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan,implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practiceswithin the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizesappropriate age and population specific standards as designated intheir assigned clinical setting. Cares for residents in all phasesof preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment,resident education and various other nursing interventions. Mayserve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license andunlicensed assistive personnel that are within the jobdescriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence levelof the delegate. Provides adequate assistance and support todelegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident careand resolution of care and service concerns. Functions within thescopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the NursePractice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice andlicensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scopeand Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses withInterpretive Statements as published by the American NursesAssociation as the foundation of nursing care delivery andprofessional conduct. Graduate from a nationally accredited nursingprogram preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission onCollegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission forEducation in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for NursingCommission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds anunencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where thepractice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistatelicensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
