• InfectionPreventionist
• Part-Time.
• Registered Nurse

• Infection PreventionistQualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse
• RN in theCommonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Certification in Infection Control andEpidemiology or Certification of the completion of the “Nursing HomeInfection Preventionist Training Course” by CDC.
• Two (2) years ofLong-Term Care experience.
• Expertise in DPH regulation, along withexcellent communication skills.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registered Nurse

• Infection Preventionist Job Summary:

• Develops,implements and evaluates the Mt. Carmel Care Center infection preventionprogram.
• Develops an annual surveillance plan based on the populationserved, services provided, and analysis of the surveillance data.
• Arranges opportunities for meaningful education programs and stafftrainings during the year.
