Detox program provides 24 hour nursing care tomonitor an individual’s withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugsand alleviate symptoms. Clients are provided with the medical andemotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotalstages in the recovery process.

Responsibilities Are:

Records andreports all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments and changesin patients safety status Administers medications to patientsCollaborates with team in providing health information andmaintains clients’ medical records Responds to patient careneeds/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living,promoting a positive therapeutic environment Assists with theadmitting, discharge and transfer process Participates in treatmentteam meetings & assists with development of care plans SmarterHealthcare Partners Job ID 1203.
