The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with a focus on infusion therapy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This role involves administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. Duties Administer intravenous (IV) medications and fluids as prescribed by physicians. Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions before, during, and after infusion therapy. Provide discharge planning for patients receiving infusion treatments, ensuring they understand their care instructions. Manage infectious disease care protocols to prevent complications during treatment. Perform basic life support (BLS) as needed and maintain compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in urgent care settings to optimize patient outcomes. Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records. Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures in the operating room (OR) when required. Educate patients and their families about infusion therapies, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.

Experience Candidates should have:

A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience administering injections and performing medical-surgical nursing tasks. Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in patient conditions. Familiarity with sonography principles is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety throughout all procedures.
