Pay Package:

$3000/weekly for 36 hours Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to monitor the health status of mothers and newborns. Provide support and education to patients and families regarding labor processes, pain management options, and postpartum care. Assist in sterile processing of instruments and equipment to maintain a safe delivery environment. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor. Administer medications as prescribed, including intravenous therapy when necessary. Perform venipuncture for blood draws as required for testing. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a Level I Trauma Center setting to ensure comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health systems. Provide home community care referrals as needed for ongoing support after discharge. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in acute care settings, preferably within labor and delivery or maternal-child health nursing. Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures is a plus but not required. Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions promptly. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in nursing homes or community health settings is advantageous.
