RN – L&D
– Local Contract 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Salem, MA WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Salem, MA.
Job Function :
Day Shift or Night Shift. 3×12. Apply external fetal monitors and interpret fetal heart tracings and uterine activity. Implement appropriate interventions based on fetal and maternal status during labor. Identify and respond to emergency situations, notifying the provider as needed. Assist physicians or midwives during deliveries while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts. 3 years of acute care experience in this specialty. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred. Proficiency in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulating, and Newborn Care required.
