Travel Job Description As a post-anesthesia careunit nurse (RN PACU), you will provide short-term care to patientsimmediately following surgery, from 30 minutes to several hourspost-op. Patient observation is essential to your job, includingregularly taking vitals, ensuring proper breathing, andadministering oxygen or pain medication when necessary. You mayalso care for patients in the pre-op setting managing their needsand preparing them for surgery. In this role, you must quicklyrespond to any change in a patient’s condition, beginning CPR ifnecessary. Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent acutecare experience in specialty
