Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Join our team of one physician and three APPs in our perioperative assessment program for Baystate Health. Our clinical mission is to optimize surgical readiness and promote best outcomes for our patients. In close collaboration with our outstanding team of surgeons and anesthesiologists, we make decisions regarding medical optimization, procedural timing and appropriateness of procedure given patient comorbidities. This position will be split between Baystate Medical Center in Springfield and Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield. The number of days at each site is flexible. Patient visits are 45 minutes with additional time for charting. This full-time opportunity offers excellent scheduling flexibility. The clinic is open Monday through Friday. 4 or 5 day work week is available. No nights, weekends, or call.
Qualifications:
Board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Experience in in surgery or primary care is highly preferred.
