As a key team member in a newly established 84-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Holyoke, MA, you’ll help shape a supportive culture and high standard of care from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will: Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and adolescent patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Maintain a secure, therapeutic environment using trauma-informed care practices. Work closely with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans. Float between units and assume charge responsibilities as needed (no additional pay for charge assignments).

Qualifications:
Required:

Active Massachusetts RN license at the time of submission. At least 1 year of experience working in adult and/or adolescent inpatient psychiatric care. Flexibility to float between units and take on charge nurse responsibilities.

Preferred:

BSN degree. Experience in inpatient substance use treatment. CPR certification. De-escalation and crisis intervention training.

Skills:

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of behavioral health and substance use treatment approaches. Ability to build and maintain therapeutic relationships while observing professional boundaries. Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer functions. Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in high-pressure situations. Why Join Us?
