Traveler Position Summary:
Athena Medtech is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Women & Infant Unit , specializing in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of LDRP experience and a commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered care during the childbirth process.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and evaluate individualized care plans for patients across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses Serve as a central point of coordination among multidisciplinary care teams Execute physician and nursing orders in a timely and precise manner Support patient education, discharge planning, and emotional support for families
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum 1 year of recent LDRP experience BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond swiftly in emergent situations Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
