In addition tobeing one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Connecticut, ourRNs treat patients with the highest acuity in the region, theHartford Hospital ED is also a chest pain center and comprehensivestroke center. The department is comprised of 109 beds, with theaddition of a 19-bed ED Observation Unit. The ED treats an averageof 109,000 patients annually. Hartford Hospital is home to thelargest robotic surgery center in the Northeast and the Center forEducation, Simulation and Innovation (CESI), which is recognized asone of the most-advanced medical simulation training centers in theworld. Our ED is also home to Life Star the state’s first CriticalCare helicopter service. Our Rock Star ED RN’s are the recipientsof the prestigious National Lantern Award for Excellence inNursing. Qualifications Education:

Graduate of anaccredited School of Nursing. BSN degree required; ASN/ADN RNs withrelevant experience may be considered.

Licensure:

CurrentConnecticut RN license required prior to start date.

Experience:

Previous acute care RN experience preferred, however new graduateRNs who are passionate about Emergency Medicine are welcomed andencouraged to apply.

Certifications:
