You will possess the ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care Will work with Harvard trained and board certified specialists (in pain management and anesthesiology) physicians Will be able to ensure patients receive the best treatment for acute and/or chronic pain Magnet Designated with Distinction – only hospital in the state of Massachusetts with this honor! Additional Job Details (if applicable) Providing longitudinal care for patients in the Pain Management Center Faulkner Campus Working in a busy procedural setting providing care to pain management clinic patients. This includes teaching and care for initial, follow-up, and procedure patients (including fluoroscopy), management of intrathecal therapy, and responding to patients’ requests/inquiries Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. Triages all urgent calls, manages patient messages/calls. Sets priorities when organizing care based upon the acuity. Is aware of clinic flow and re-arranges provider schedules to accommodate the urgent care needs.
