A registered nurse is sought for a part-time position in an early childhood setting for a five-week summer program. This role involves providing essential healthcare support to a small group of Pre-K students, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for their growth and learning.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of pediatric health and wellness Flexible schedule to accommodate program hours
Location:
Boston, MA Responsibilities:
Conduct health assessments and establish health records for each student Monitor and promote student health and safety throughout the program Collaborate with educators and staff to support the needs of students Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary Communicate effectively with parents regarding their childs health Plan and implement health education activities as appropriate
