$76,396.32 – $126,730.61 Cath andEP Lab is equipped with high tech ultrasound and state-of-the-artImaging and Anesthesia equipment where complex structural heartcases are performed. The labs also perform diagnostic andtherapeutic procedures for the adult and pediatric patients underthe supervision of our Medical Director. The staff consists of ablend of personnel including RPN, Medical Imaging Technicians,Certified Vascular Technicians, and Patient Care Associates.
Pre/Post nurses require or will develop the following skill sets:
Implement physician orders, administer medications, starts IVs,perform treatments, procedures and special tests, and documenttreatment as required by company policy and local/state/federalrules and regulations. Pre/Post nurses will also order, interpret,and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’conditions, assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responsesto, care rendered. They will apply sound nursing judgment inpatient care management decisions, collaborate with the nursingteam to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and direct andguide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professionalnursing. Orders, interprets, andevaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responsesto, care rendered. Applies sound nursing judgment in patient caremanagement decisions. Provides primary and emergency care foroccupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications asordered. Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan ofCare for all patients.
