Please be advised that candidates must successfullycomplete a background check and pre-employment health screeningwhich includes a drug screen. Summary Supervises and coordinatesactivities of nursing personnel in one or more patient care units.

Verifies that patients’ needs are met and evaluates unit nursingcare and performance. Participates in planning work of assignedunits and coordinates activities with other patient care units andrelated departments. Responsibilities Plans and organizes trainingfor unit staff members and participates in guidance and educationalprograms.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

Academic degree innursing.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree.

CertificationsRequired:

Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practiceprofession as required by law, regulation in state of practice orpolicy; CPR.
