Job Description:
The Nursing Lab/Simulation Facilitator is primarily responsible for teaching clinical skills, reinforcing students’ clinical skills during open lab hours, and assisting with testing/evaluating students’ clinical competencies. In addition, the instructor will collaborate with and provide support for the Simulation Center and Nursing Lab Manager.
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred or Bachelors in Nursing with one of the following certifications: CNE, CNEcl or CHSE.
Current RN licensure.
Previous experience in a nursing education program preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in mentoring students in a structured lab setting to ensure quality and safety.
Skill in the use of medical and technological equipment.
Ability with planning, prioritizing, and organizing clinical laboratory needs as aligned with the nursing curriculum.
Interact with students, faculty, and staff in a professional and collegial manner.
Demonstrate independent judgment and management skills.
Ability to perform above duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Shift Information:
Monday, Tuesday, and an occasional Wednesday morning; hours are typically between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary:
$50.00 per hour
