The starting rate for this position is: $30.32 an hour.
The rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, the determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
Summary
The RN is an essential member of the Patient Care Team and is responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN delegates those interventions that others may perform, supervises as appropriate, assists in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care, provides education to patients, and families, and collaborates with other health professionals in the
planning and management of health care.
Job Requirements
Current Maine RN license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Float Pool RNs are required to have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Graduate of an approved Nursing program required.
Basic Dysrhythmia preferred or obtained before completion of orientation.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation.
Responsible, supportive team player.
Ability to work well in high-stress situations.
