The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to provide high-quality medical services. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Perform diagnostic evaluations and assessments Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for documentation Conduct triage to assess patient needs and prioritize care Assist with medical procedures such as ventilating, tube feeding, and dialysis Manage medical records accurately and ensure confidentiality Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care Specialize in areas like internal medicine to meet diverse patient needs BLS certification required CPI Required “Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusion.” to ensure competency has been validated by the agency employing the staff member
