RN Post Acute LTC – (Open to both Locals and Travel Nurse) 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Lewiston, ME 04240 Estimated payment breakdown for travelers: $61.11/hr or $2200/week (36 hrs./wk) = ($954/week on w2 tax + $1246//week tax free/stipend) Local travelers will receive a $10/hr lower local rate.

The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include This facility is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimers/dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. Key aspects of this unit are the use of both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, understanding the difficult behaviors that are sometimes associated with residents that have Alzheimer’s/Dementia, as well as understanding that these behaviors can be valid communications. It provides needed care to those residents needing long term placement in a home-like environment. This 42-bed unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other illnesses or injuries of a short-term nature where a rehab approach might be beneficial. Nursing services often include IV therapy, wound care and geriatric assessment and management. This is a 42-bed long-term care unit. It provides needed care to those residents needing long term placement in a home-like environment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Associates in Nursing Need valid State of Maine or compact RN license 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred Medical terminology preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
