Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a key role inmeeting Genesis business objectives by ensuring the appropriatereimbursement for patient care services. You will participate inthe Patient Assessment Process through completion of items on theMDS and the accompanying Care Area Assessments (CAAs). Assist inthe development individualized patient care plans, identify patientneeds and projected outcomes as required by Federal and Stateregulations. Contribute to the nursing center interdisciplinaryResident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process while following RAIguidelines for completion, computer encoding and electronictransmission of the MDS. Identify changes in patient condition inconjunction with the interdisciplinary team and coordinatescheduling and completion of indicated assessments. Assist withActivities of Daily Living training for new hires and throughongoing continuing education to existing staff. Attend educationalprograms to maintain knowledge with current RAI/Prospective PaymentSystem regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nursecurrently licensed by the state and in good standing.
• Previousexperience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcarerelated facility is required.
• Prior experience completing MDSs andCare Plans is required
• Must be knowledgeable of general,rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices andprocedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-termcare.

Posted Salary Range:

USD $91,520.00 – USD $102,960.00/Yr.
