GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bangor, Maine.

44 private and semi-private rooms

Experience RN:

1 year minimum, would prefer more First time traveler accepted :

Any medical diagnosis except primary Cardiac could be seen on this unit. Unit will monitor patients on Telemetry (Med-Tele)Common diagnoses include but are not limited to: Stroke, COPD, Respiratory issues and illnesses Flu/PNA/COVID, GI Bleed, Renal Failure (AKI/CKD), Electrolyte imbalance, altered mental status, weakness, non-operable fractures

Patient Ratios:

RN:

Nights 1:5-6 May vary based on patient acuity, tech support, insulin drips within assignment, etc.

CNA:

Nights 1:10 Rarely, due to call-in, nurses may have total care of some less acute patients within their assignments

Required Certifications:

RN:

BLS, NIHSS

(preferred)EKG interpretation/ACLS (preferred) Previous charge experience highly preferred, please include if the traveler has charge experience in offer details and is willing to act as charge Cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone), Insulin drips, Heparin drips – training available from charge
