Start Date:

Schedule:

5×8 hour shift Position 1: Weekend On-Call (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM) Position 2: Mon-Thurs On-Call Guaranteed 40 hours/week Required Qualifications Active RN license in the state of Maine BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance Minimum of 1 year RN experience in hospice, home health, long-term care, oncology, or acute care (clinical hours or internships may be considered) Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care and assessments based on the individualized Plan of Care Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to address patient and family needs Monitor and document patient condition, symptoms, and medication response Coordinate scheduling and ensure regulatory and policy compliance Maintain communication with attending and hospice physicians Perform supervisory visits and manage clinical documentation Educate families and caregivers on hospice philosophy and clinical procedures Support quality improvement and performance evaluations Maintain infection control protocols Participate in staff meetings, on-call schedules, and compliance training
