The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support patients through their recovery process, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Duties Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs and symptoms. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide pain management and ostomy care to patients as needed. Document all patient interactions and medical information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform venipuncture and IV infusion procedures as required. Assist in the coordination of patient care in various settings, including medical offices, ER, home community care, and laboratory environments. Educate patients and their families about health management, post-operative care, and recovery processes. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience. Proven experience in a medical/surgical setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and ostomy care practices. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
