Nursesin collaboration with Angiography, Cardiovascular andElectrophysiology Technologists provide the highest quality careusing the most advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment inour Cardiovascular and Hybrid labs located at each Legacy site.

stroke, chest pain, minimallyinvasive and robotic surgery, cancer care, orthopedic and totaljoint surgery and a birth center and breast healthcenter.

Responsibilities:

Catheterization Laboratory service linesare comprehensive and include interventional cardiology, vascular,adult, and pediatric interventional radiology, adult and pediatricinterventional neuroradiology, adult and pediatricelectrophysiology, structural heart, and pediatric and congenitalinterventional cardiology. The RN Staff Nurse, Cath Lab providescare to all service lines and patient populations outside ofEmanuel and Randall Children’s Hospitals. This position isresponsible for patient care within assigned Hospital Cath Lab andparticipates as a member of the health care team in cooperationwith and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee asdefined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for theRegistered Nurse. This role assesses, analyzes, plans, implements,and evaluates patient care following established patient carestandards for Legacy Health System including those for patientassessment and transfer.

Qualifications:

Education:

As required bylicensure:

• BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
• BSNmay be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without aBSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of thesite CNO.

Experience:

• One-year registered nursing experience orcompletion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or anursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum andduration. Additional clinical experience requirements may varydependent upon the specific department in which the position isutilized.
• Cath Lab experience strongly preferred or critical careexperience.
• Must be available to take call with a 30-minuteresponse time.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Demonstrated ability of positiveinterpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients,families, physicians and the community.
• Keyboard skills andability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.

Licensure:

• Current applicable state RN license required.
• BLSfor Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Associationrequired.
• ACLS from the American Heart Association required.

PayRange:

USD $50.57
