The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including home care and critical care environments. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and delivering essential nursing services to ensure optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and vital signs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Monitor patients in critical care settings, including ICU, ensuring timely interventions when necessary. Perform catheter care and assist with family planning discussions as needed. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner for documentation and patient management. Engage in health coaching to promote healthy lifestyle choices among patients. Experience Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in home care or critical care settings is preferred but not required. Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques. Familiarity with pediatric nursing practices is a plus. Strong skills in monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions. Experience with catheter care is advantageous. Knowledge of Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
