$29.50 -$44.50 Department Details The CCL will assist on the floor withvarious tasks and also assist with SAFE and team morale. JobSummary The Registered Nurse in the Clinical Care Leader (CCL) rolefacilitates health care services for patients in cooperation withthe health care team. Demonstrates strong clinical reasoning andcritical thinking skills to analyze data and appropriately respondto changing situations. Effective communication skills tocollaborate, negotiate, and resolve conflicts, situations, and/orissues with peers, inter-professional colleagues, patients andfamilies. Establishes and maintains effective working relationshipswith patients, medical staff, clinical support staff and thepublic. Serves as a mentor to staff while assisting in facilitatingthe over-all clinic activities. Participates and may serve inleadership roles on department/organizational tasks forces andcommittees. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process(assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation andevaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.

Responsible for the coordination of care, patient assessment,patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions.

Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, includingphysicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstratescompetency and practices within the full scope of nursingexpertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and populationspecific standards as designated in their assigned clinicalsetting. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursingpractice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and AdministrativeRules in state of practice and licensure. The Sanford ProfessionalNursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice andthe Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements aspublished by the American Nurses Association as the foundation ofnursing care delivery and professional conduct. Documents patienthistory, symptoms, medications and care provided in compliance withapplicable standards/regulations. Utilizes technology to enhancequality patient care, to collaborate with physicians andinter-professional team members, and effectively delegates to andsupervise unlicensed personnel, assume overall nursingaccountability for patient care. Assists in conducting new stafftraining and orientation regarding operating rules and workingstandards. Supports and assists in the implementation ofestablished performance improvement policies and trains employeeson these policies. Accountable to follow up with risk managementand training of clinical staff as needed. Knowledge of commonsafety hazards and precautions to establish a safe workenvironment. Learns new concepts, processes and tools related toown personal development and education. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in Nursing strongly preferred in Fargo, Fargo Network,Bemidji, Sioux Falls Network. Required in Bismarck and Sioux Falls(Sanford USD Medical Center and Clinics) Graduate from anaccredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, thoseaccredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN),or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing EducationAccreditation (NLN CNEA). Minimum of two years’ clinical experiencepreferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with theState Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurringand/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact(NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required departmentspecific competencies and certifications. Functions within thelegal scope of practice.
